It all began in the city of Mirassol, in the interior of São Paulo, around 1914. Augusto and Farid Nasser Dalul opened a fabric store, named Casa Verde (Green House), a direct reference to the color of the property. For a long time, this was the activity of Casa Verde. In the meantime, on May 16, 1927, João Nasser Dalul was born, one of the couple's children who would become the founder of Móveis Casa Verde. João took a technical carpentry course at the Liceu de Artes e Ofícios in São Paulo and began to manufacture furniture pieces in the backyard to sell in the store, which led to an almost immediate success. This manufacturing was responsible for the change in Casa Verde's activity, which became exclusively a furniture store. Without media to promote the products and with few financial resources, they installed loudspeakers in their green Ford Coupé and advertised in the rural areas, promoting products and announcing sales. This attitude, besides further increasing sales, demonstrated a business vision ahead of its time. On April 28, 1955, João married Neusa Ney Pereira dos Santos and, in the same year, bought his brothers' shares, becoming the sole owner of the store and founding Fábrica de Móveis Casa Verde. Later, he also acquired Estofados Casa Verde and started his chain of stores, Mercantil de Móveis Casa Verde, for which he personally sought out the best locations and properties to open his stores. In the transfer of his business to his four children, he personally oversaw the business training of each of them, carefully observing their individual tendencies and growth. Today, Maria Cristina, his daughter, who holds degrees and a postgraduate degree in Marketing, runs the more than 35 Móveis Casa Verde stores, continuing to invest in the company, always aiming to satisfy her clients' needs.
