Mälardalens högskola

About Mälardalens högskola

MDU is Sweden's newest university. With our vision, to be a progressive and collaborative university where we together shape a sustainable future, we want to make a real difference. Together we contribute to a more sustainable future through knowledge and innovation. We believe that new knowledge and new perspectives are best created and achieved in collaboration with others - colleagues, students, business and the public sector, both nationally and internationally. Nearly 20,000 students study courses and programs with us in design and communication, economics, health, technology and education, as well as chamber music and opera. Our research is conducted in all fields of education and is internationally prominent in the future of energy and embedded systems. MDU is located in the expansive Mälardalen growth region with campuses in Eskilstuna and Västerås.
