About Luton Borough Council

A modern, cosmopolitan town, Luton benefits from a rare blend of great location, a thriving centre, superb transport links, a buoyant local economy and a highly progressive university. What’s more, all of this comes within the context of one of the most vibrant multicultural communities in the country. All in all, it’s a town with a lot to say for itself and that’s why some 200,000 people are proud to live, learn, work and enjoy life here. The diversity of the local community is celebrated positively by the council and is a considerable asset.
