About Lusifrota - Transportes e Logística

Lusifrota is a company within the Lusiaves Group, founded in 1987, headquartered in the Zicofa Industrial Zone, Cova das Faias - Leiria. Initially created to provide a more professionalized and adequate response to the needs of Lusiaves Group companies, its main activity is the road transport of products and goods for third parties. Being associated with a Group so diversified in terms of operational activities makes Lusifrota a highly specialized and capable company to meet the most distinct types of transport with a high level of service, operating mainly in the general cargo transport sector, food products (both at the retail level and, above all, at the large distribution level), by-products and live poultry, as well as in the bulk transport of cereals and animal feed. To meet all the requests it receives, Lusifrota has a modern fleet (with an average age of around 5 years) distributed from north to south of the country and composed of more than 300 vehicles, predominantly heavy-duty, with solutions at the level of rigid and articulated equipment ranging from refrigerated trucks, tanks, auger trucks, tippers, general cargo, among others. At Lusifrota, we defend and promote continuous improvement policies always focused on minimizing environmental impacts, assuming a strong and permanent commitment to energy transition and the reduction of CO2 emissions, through various mechanisms that support us in achieving these objectives, such as constant and permanent training, digital transformation with tools that reinforce this mission, or even with a fleet renewal policy through the acquisition of new, increasingly less polluting vehicles (highlighting gas-powered heavy-duty trucks) and increasingly efficient ones.
