Yunnan Lucky Air Company Ltd, (Lucky Air), founded by HNA Group and Yunnan Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC), is a subsidiary of HNA Group. Lucky Air primarily operates scheduled flights from Kunming, known as the spring city, which experiences spring year-round and showcases a rich diversity of ethnic minorities, natural beauty, and exotic culture. With bases in Kunming (KMG), Lijiang (LJG), and Chengdu (CTU), the airline established an extensive network covering 54 domestic routes in 44 cities, 7 international routes, and 1 regional route as of September 2015. After 9 years of development, Lucky Air employs over 1,400 staff. With an annual plan to introduce 10 aircraft and expand its network, Lucky Air has emerged as a prominent airline in China. As of September 2015, Lucky Air operated 27 aircraft, including 20 Boeing 737NG and 7 Airbus A319/A320, holding a 15.7% market share in Yunnan's civil aviation sector, making it the second-ranked airline in the province. By establishing its brand system and refining its core brand values, Lucky Air is pioneering a new development model for aviation companies, transitioning into a high-quality and distinctive airline.
