On the other hand, with the Fehmarn Belt Fixed Link, we are facing Denmark's largest construction project in history, and it opens up entirely new opportunities that we intend to exploit: For export companies, Lolland offers qualified employees, inexpensive business premises, and a location right at the gateway to Europe, and for the millions of North Germans who will live less than two hours' drive away, we are a scenic tourist destination. Finally, the upgrade of the southern railway in connection with the Fehmarn project will provide much better conditions for commuters in eastern Denmark.
