Lojas Quero-Quero was founded in 1967 in the city of Santo Cristo, in the interior of Rio Grande do Sul, as a small trade and representation company. At the time, its capital consisted only of courage and a deep passion for the "gaúcha" spirit that gave the establishment its name, along with a belief in hard work and a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Our business model has made us known for offering an integrated solution to our consumers, characterized by our portfolio of construction materials, home appliances, and furniture, covering a large part of our clients' needs in the home and construction segment. In addition to the retail segment, Lojas Quero-Quero manages the VerdeCard credit card and, to complete the mix of products offered, has a diversified portfolio of financial services that enhance and provide a complete retail solution for its clients. In 2020, there was an initial public offering (IPO) on the Brazilian stock exchange, one of the biggest achievements in our more than 50-year history. In full expansion across the country, we currently have stores distributed in the states of Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, and Paraná, Mato Grosso do Sul, and São Paulo with more than 8,000 employees, in addition to 3 distribution centers located in Sapiranga (RS), Santo Cristo (RS), and Corbélia (PR). All this growth, combined with our purpose of bringing a better life to the communities we are part of and also to our employees, culminates in March 2021, when we were certified by GPTW (Great Place To Work) as one of the best companies to work for in Brazil.
