Lojas Edmil was founded in August 1980 by the visionary and progressive Mr. Adauto Pereira Valias, an entrepreneur with solid knowledge of the commercial market. Initially established in a modest 150 m² space in Elói Mendes-MG, the small Edmil mattress factory had only two employees at the time. After two years of operation, the founder decided to expand his business and opened the first own store of Grupo Edmil in the city of Varginha-MG, specializing in the sale of mattresses. The results were promising and motivated the opening of new stores. Over the years, the company invested in expanding its product portfolio, incorporating furniture, appliances, and electronics, which further strengthened customer loyalty. More than 40 years have passed, and today Grupo Edmil has a group of stores spread throughout the state of Minas Gerais. Although Mr. Adauto passed away in 2016, his legacy lives on in the memory of his family, who currently lead the group with determination. Lojas Edmil embodies the spirit and values characteristic of the people of Minas Gerais, being a company made by our people and for our people.
