Lojas Barracão

About Lojas Barracão

When brothers José, Antônio, and Salvador rented their first store in downtown São Paulo, on Rua General Carneiro, they created, with much hard work and dedication, a home goods, tools, and toys store, which was quite innovative for that time. The store had a simple, but very welcoming atmosphere, with great variety and unbeatable prices. The formula worked, and in the following years, the company opened several branches. The partnership lasted until the 1980s, when the brothers decided to go their separate ways and the Barracão stores changed their names, but kept their DNA and work style intact. At the end of 1999, with a sense of accomplishment, the company, under Mr. José's leadership, was transferred to his children, who continued the legacy. From 2000 to the present, much sweat, learning, openings, and changes have been made, but the original philosophy of working with quality products and unbeatable prices has been preserved. The stores continue to transform to better serve our customers! Here, you can apply for our openings! Send your CV to:
