Lidl Nederland

About Lidl Nederland

As part of the Schwarz Group, Lidl is one of the leading companies in the food industry in Europe. The organization currently operates more than 12,000 stores and 200 distribution and logistics centers in 31 countries. In 1997, Lidl opened its first branches in the Netherlands. Lidl Netherlands has since grown into an organization with approximately 440 branches throughout the country and an online shop for non-food items. Under the motto 'the highest quality at the lowest price,' we offer a responsible range of food and non-food items, created with care for people, animals, and the environment. At Lidl, we make a sustainable and healthy lifestyle affordable and accessible for everyone. Customers automatically choose a more sustainable product with us. As a future-proof organization, sustainability is an integral part of our business operations: we build sustainably, reuse residual streams, and combat food waste. We want the best for our customers and for the world around us; today and in the future. That is why we consciously strive to increase our positive impact on society and the environment and to reduce any negative impact. We do this together with our suppliers, employees, partners, and customers. For more information about our sustainability policy and initiatives, visit http://www.lidl.nl/duurzaamheid.
