Liberty Dogs

About Liberty Dogs

Slated to open in 2026, Liberty Dogs is a new Service Dog training facility located at the base of the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountain range in Reno, Nevada. The 27-acre campus is currently under construction and will provide a state-of-the-art campus that will welcome Veterans with disabilities from across the country. During their two-week stay at the gorgeous accommodations, Veterans will be matched with their ideal Liberty Service Dogs and will train together to mitigate the disability. The Liberty Dogs mission is to "Honor Veterans with disabilities by providing new levels of independence with professionally trained Service Dogs." Please follow our progress throughout 2024 and 2025. When fully operational, Liberty Dogs will employ 150 staff from dog trainers, veterinarians, vet techs, social workers, administrative, maintenance, chefs, and other key roles to ensure the Veterans and dogs receive the excellent care they deserve. Stay tuned to learn about incredible volunteer opportunities, as well.
