About LFIZ - Lycée Français International de Zurich

The Lycée Français International de Zurich (LFIZ), founded in 1956, currently welcomes over 1,140 students from preschool to the final year of high school. As the only school in the canton of Zurich accredited by the French Ministry of National Education and partnered with AEFE (Agency for French Education Abroad), LFIZ provides high-quality education. The programs followed are in line with those of the French National Education system taught in all French schools, in France and abroad. Our educational offering is approved by the Zurich Cantonal Department of Education, which recognizes the compliance of the French-German curriculum from kindergarten to 5th grade and the education provided in secondary school. Legally, LFIZ is a non-profit association under Swiss law. Its management is overseen by a committee of nine elected members, all parents of students and members of the Association du Lycée Français International de Zurich (ALFIZ). Year after year, the Lycée Français International de Zurich is proud to distinguish itself through the excellence of its examination results, to share a quality education where language learning is particularly important, and finally, to guarantee the transmission of the humanist values to which we are deeply attached and which LFIZ has resolutely embodied for over 60 years.
