Lejre Kommune

About Lejre Kommune

Lejre Kommune is a place – or rather 49 small towns and villages and a lot of places. We have chosen to be a rural municipality. We choose the village, nature, and the local community. This is how the story of Our Place begins in the book of the same name. The book describes how Lejre Municipality is connected by communities, nature, and free spaces for initiative. The vision was formulated in 2015 after an extensive process with contributions from citizens, associations, and businesses. Since then, Our Place has become synonymous with Lejre Municipality and a set of values that we strive to live up to daily. Read more about Our Place here.
