leguano Barefoot Shoe Manufactory Barefoot walking in all situations and on all occasions - that's what leguano barefoot shoes are for. Since the company was founded in 2009, the product range has been constantly expanded, the number of employees is growing, and the people behind the leguano brand work every day for the success of the company. The decisive factor was the desire of the enthusiastic long-distance runner Helmuth Ohlhoff to run in a shoe in which he could move as if he were barefoot. He was inspired by Walter Packi, a doctor and the first German biokinematician, who told him at a meeting many years ago: "You runners all run incorrectly." From this observation and a few clarifying words from the Freiburg physician about natural movement patterns, it was clear to Helmuth Ohlhoff: I must run barefoot! After a five-year development history, the leguano barefoot shoe emerged, which represented an alternative to shod running not only for runners but for all people. Because leguano barefoot shoes give the foot its full freedom of movement and at the same time protect it with their low-wear, non-slip sole, which adapts to every movement of the foot and its muscles. For this, the "lifolit®-lg" developed exclusively for leguano by the company Hexpol was used, which is characterized by high flexibility and at the same time high abrasion resistance. In 2009, the company leguano was founded, with a handful of employees, all highly motivated and absolutely convinced of the product: Barefoot shoes Made in Germany.
