The Lechwerke are a regional energy supplier in southwestern Bavaria and belong to the E.ON Group. For over 120 years, Lechwerke has stood for innovative energy supply solutions. Together with municipalities, citizens, and companies, we are shaping the energy future in our region. Our core business is energy supply and related services. Lechwerke generates its own environmentally friendly electricity from hydropower and from decentralized energy generation methods such as photovoltaics, biomass, and combined heat and power. As an energy supplier, we offer our customers both electricity and gas products, as well as energy-related services such as contracting and marketing of renewable energy. Our subsidiary LEW Verteilnetz GmbH is responsible for the distribution network operation in a large part of Bavarian Swabia. Together with the subsidiaries LEW Wasserkraft GmbH, LEW Verteilnetz GmbH, LEW TelNet GmbH, LEW Service & Consulting GmbH, Wendelsteinbahn GmbH, Überlandwerk Krumbach GmbH, and Elektrizitätswerke Landsberg GmbH, Lechwerke AG forms the LEW Group. The LEW Group employs a total of over 1,900 people and trains over 90 young people annually in commercial, industrial, and IT professions.
