The LAFRETO group owns the MonsieurGolf and Glisshop brands and its head office is based in Clermont-Ferrand (Aubière). The Glisshop adventure began in 1996 when Laurence and Frédéric Morel opened a ski and snowboard shop in Clermont-Ferrand. In 1999, they launched Glisshop.com and became pioneers of winter sports e-commerce. The success story continues with strong growth each year. Today, the brand generates a quarter of its turnover internationally. Monsieurgolf joined the group in 2014, allowing for deseasonalization of the activity. The brand has become one of the leaders in the French golf market in a few years.
