About LADAPT OUEST

LADAPT is a non-profit association recognized as being of public utility. With nearly 110 establishments and services for support, training, integration, schooling, or care, LADAPT supports over 19,000 people in France each year. Since 1997, it has organized the Week for the Employment of People with Disabilities, which evolved in 2015 into the European Week for the Employment of People with Disabilities / European Disability Employment Week (SEEPH / EDEW). In 2014, LADAPT created Ouverture de Champ, evening events that address disability differently, through the lenses of imagery and humor. Each year, these events take place in French cinemas to change mindsets and foster citizen debate. At the end of 2015, LADAPT launched its first public awareness campaign: #KillLaBetise. It adopted a deliberately biting tone and tackled prejudices and received ideas about people with disabilities. In line with this, in 2017, with #SANSLIMITES, the association demonstrated that disability is an obstacle like any other and does not prevent one from living life without limits. Thanks to the 300 volunteers in its Network of Successes, LADAPT offers genuine citizen support to people with disabilities in their job search. As part of its associative project, LADAPT aims to offer innovative solutions to the needs of people with disabilities to facilitate their social and professional integration at every stage of life. LADAPT remains true to its mission, begun 90 years ago: to support people with disabilities in their ordinary struggle, that of their daily lives, so that we can "Live together, equal and different." The West region includes the 4 Breton departments, as well as Mayenne, Sarthe, Maine-et-Loire, and Loire-Atlantique.
