About LA DESPENSA

Grupo La Despensa Supermercados La Despensa is a family business with 100% Castilian-Manchego capital. Its foundation dates back to 1985, but it has grown steadily over the last decade thanks to the tenacity and effort of its human capital. Grupo La Despensa is present with more than 100 points of sale distributed throughout the Communities of Castilla La Mancha, Madrid, and Castilla y León. With significant growth in recent years, and employing over 1200 workers, we can define ourselves as an exciting project in full expansion. Grupo La Despensa has a central warehouse located in Mora (province of Toledo). This distribution platform has 12,000 square meters distributed into: dry food and drugstore warehouse, perishable products warehouse, and offices. Our warehouse is fully computerized with the latest technologies. The connection with the points of sale is made via a VPN, which guarantees immediate communication between the central office and the different points of sale. We also have a large fleet of trucks, controlled by GPS, which allows us to provide daily service to all our establishments, thus ensuring product freshness and minimizing stockouts as much as possible.
