About Kreatos

The Kreatos group is the largest hairdressing chain in Flanders and therefore one of the most important hairdressing groups in Belgium. No appointment needed, open on Mondays, and top quality. Trust us, your hair is in good hands! Kreatos, your hairdresser. Kreatos was founded in 1985 by Eric Bergeys. In 2015, the group had 125 locations. Kreatos hair salons are all located in Flanders, with a fairly even distribution across the various provinces, in both larger cities and smaller rural centers. The approximately 500 employees receive nearly 900,000 customers annually. Kreatos is a franchise concept. The majority of Kreatos salons are operated by about sixty franchisees (2015). The Kreatos concept primarily targets dynamic middle-income individuals who want a qualitative/service-oriented hairdresser combined with easy accessibility. The Kreatos group has an extensive organization, with its own technical training studios, a management training center, salon coaches, and an internal ICT and marketing department. The core of the Kreatos strategy is “growing together”. Through intensive training/guidance and a developed organization, employees and franchisees are offered maximum opportunities for further development and career advancement. Kreatos has been highly innovative in the hairdressing sector since its inception. The open-on-Monday idea was a complete innovation in the Belgian hairdressing market in the 80s, where many hairdressing businesses still traditionally close on Mondays. The introduction of franchising in this sector is also a credit to Kreatos. In recent years, the Kreatos group has focused strongly on digitalization and direct communication with its customers. With the Kreatos website, various social media (Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube), a monthly digital newsletter, a customer card, and mobile surveys, customers are communicated with millions of times annually.
