The School of Medicine in English, part of JU MC, educates nearly 700 students from five continents and partners with significant American and European educational institutions. Clinical teaching facilities include the University Hospital, one of Europe's most innovative, the University Children's Hospital, the University Hospital of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation in Zakopane, the University Clinic of Dentistry, and select clinical departments in Krakow. Our international prestige is reflected in our research achievements, increasing patent applications, and patents. JU MC scientists and physicians conduct pioneering studies in cardiac surgery, urology, and neurology, often developing novel treatment methods.
