KIS Vietnam Securities Corporation (KIS Vietnam) was established in December 2010 by Korea Investment & Securities Co., Ltd. (KIS), Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group and other shareholders. KIS Korea contributed 48.8% of the KIS Vietnam's capital in November 2010 and raised its ownership to 99.8% in June 2021. KIS Vietnam's owner equity as of November 2024 is about VND 5,600 billion, which ranks 13th in the industry. For 5 consecutive years from 2019, KIS Vietnam ranks 10th in stock trading's market share. KIS Vietnam is strongly supported by KIS Korea with experience in the financial field such as banking, audit sector and domestic capital markets.
