About Kinderwelt Hamburg

Kinderwelt Hamburg is a non-profit organization for child and youth welfare with over 700 employees. In addition to more than 25 daycare centers, we operate a family center, a parent-child center, and several organic catering kitchens, and are cooperation partners for all-day programs at three Hamburg primary schools. In 2008, we founded Flachsland Zukunftsschulen gGmbH, a wholly-owned subsidiary with two additional daycare centers, a general education school, and a vocational school for social pedagogy. For more than 25 years, we at Kinderwelt Hamburg have been committed to supporting children in their upbringing in the best possible way. We involve them, listen to them, and take them seriously. Our educational concept differs from many others. For example, we work openly and bilingually (German and English). Furthermore, ecologically responsible action is one of our principles.
