Our approach is based on the Reggio Emilia philosophy, where we provide children with ample stimulation to encourage their natural curiosity and exploration. As a pedagogical staff member at Kinderopvang Ikke, you will ensure children can grow at their own pace, with movement freedom being paramount. Our spaces are designed to allow children to freely roll, crawl, and move. We never place children in positions they cannot get out of themselves. Playpens and bouncy seats are used only when necessary and for short periods. According to the Reggio Emilia philosophy, every child is unique and full of ideas and fantasies, which adults often unconsciously limit. Therefore, during activities, we give children the freedom to express their creativity without setting requirements for the final result. This ensures children always experience success, boosting their self-confidence. As a pedagogical staff member, you will document each child's development through reports, photos, and videos. You will work in a team that shares the same passion for the development of young children. Our after-school care (BSO) combines nature experience and the Reggio Emilia philosophy. We spend a lot of time outdoors, regardless of the weather, and organize seasonal activities. Contact with nature stimulates the senses and encourages imagination, play, and adventure.
