About Kim Man Food Products Sdn Bhd

Kim Man is a popular bun manufacturer with around 400 stalls in Johor. Kim Man started in 2001 in Taman Universiti, Johor Bahru, as a small business operating from a shop. Both founders, Mr. Ding and Mr. Yek, worked hard, preparing ingredients before dawn daily. In 2002, the business faced a turning point when the shop owner decided to sell. To continue, Mr. Ding and Mr. Yek moved their business to another shoplot. That night, they discussed future plans and decided to offer wholesale packages to interested individuals. Following this, the number of Kim Man stalls steadily increased. By 2009, Kim Man had over 180 stalls but faced product shortages. The founders then decided to move to a factory in Shahbandar, Johor. In 2012, they invested in a factory adjacent to Kim Man for business expansion.
