About KCI Construction

KCI is one of the more diverse contractors in the Midwest, with the expertise and ability to successfully perform on a wide range of projects in transportation, design/build, heavy industrial, general building, and earthwork/utility. KCI began in 1922 and is now an employee-owned construction company with offices in St. Louis and Springfield, Missouri. We are a team of builders and problem-solvers, who believe in doing things the right way. We’ve built our reputation by showing up day in and day out, ready to tackle the toughest jobs. With KCI, you’re not just hiring a contractor, you’re partnering with a team that delivers. Collaboration drives our success. Our team works together seamlessly, sharing the same goal: get the job done and get it done right. We trust each other, and that trust extends to our clients. When you work with us, you are also a part of our team. We’ve been building for decades, and through every obstacle, we’ve shown what we’re made of: hard work, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. At KCI Construction, we don't just build structures—we build trust, relationships, and legacies with people and communities.
