About KCC Corporation

KCC Group's flagship company, established in August 1958 as Keumkang Slate Ind. Co., Ltd. In July 1974, it founded Keumkang Chemical Co., Ltd., and in March 1976, changed its name to Keumkang Co., Ltd. In 1989, it established Keumkang Construction Co., Ltd. and Keumkang Leisure Co., Ltd., and grew by receiving the top corporate award from the Korea Management Association in 1992 and the $100 million export tower award. In 2000, Keumkang Co., Ltd. and Keumkang Chemical Co., Ltd. merged, changing the company name to Keumkang Korea Chemical Co., Ltd., and in 2005, it was renamed KCC Corporation, reaching its present form. It produces over 25,000 products including interior materials, ceiling materials, roofing materials, construction and industrial insulation, PVC window and flooring materials, architectural flat glass, automotive flat glass, paints, and silicones. In 2010, it ranked first in the Korea Customer Satisfaction Index (KS-QEI) in three sectors: KCC windows and doors, water-based paints, and PVC (vinyl) flooring, due to its high technology and quality products. Notably, in 2003, it became the first in Korea to successfully commercialize organic silicone monomers, making it the only company in Korea and one of the few globally with integrated organic and inorganic silicone production capabilities, establishing itself as a world-class enterprise. It has established local subsidiaries in China, Turkey, India, and Vietnam, and operates business sites in Hong Kong, UAE, Singapore, Malaysia, the United States, Germany, and Russia. With a corporate vision of becoming a 'Global Top-Tier Fine Chemical Company,' KCC is continuously growing its existing businesses while pursuing new businesses for green growth and focusing on developing new technologies and products that prioritize technological and quality competitiveness.
