The Kassenärztliche Vereinigung Westfalen-Lippe (KVWL), with around 2,000 employees, is one of the most important players in the healthcare system. Furthermore, the KVWL organizes the outpatient emergency service, thus ensuring that citizens in Westphalia-Lippe can rely on outpatient medical care of the highest standard – around the clock and 365 days a year.
