Karbontürk was established in 2021 with the goal of producing high-quality activated carbon from biomass, one of Turkey’s most abundant natural resources. Since October 2023, the company’s initial phase, Phase-0, has been operational with an annual production capacity of 1,400 tons at its industrial facility located in Adana (Yumurtalık Free Zone). Utilizing state-of-the-art technology, Karbontürk not only produces activated carbon but also generates its own electricity by converting organic waste biomass into sustainable energy. This integrated and innovative model directly addresses waste management challenges, reduces environmental impact, and contributes to a cleaner, circular economy-driven future. As a sustainability-focused and environmentally responsible manufacturer, Karbontürk delivers premium activated carbon solutions to global corporate clients across multiple industries. Our products play a critical role in water treatment and purification, air filtration, and food & beverage processing, including sugar refining, oil purification, beverage clarification, and alcohol production.
