Kangourou Kids is the leading childcare network in France. Kangourou Kids, rigor as a founding principle Kangourou Kids was created in 2010 by a group of childcare professionals who broke away from the approximate practices of the nascent sector. For them, it was important to create the reference framework for childcare in France by respecting principles whose rigor would be commensurate with the stakes of childcare: • Childcare is a real profession, complex and delicate enough not to be confused with other personal services. It is not reasonable to imagine that gardening, cleaning, and childcare are offered by the same provider. • Rigor and high standards are the primary qualities of childcare services. This conviction must be translated concretely at all levels of organization in this still immature sector. • Regulation must become more precise, more uncompromising, to the point of preventing approximate practices, amateur services, and undeclared work, which pose risks to children and their parents. • Selective recruitment, training, and continuous quality control of professionals are an absolute priority. Kangourou Kids defends these principles, implements them, and thus claims the role of a reference for childcare in France.
