Jordan Olivenöl is a family-run business founded by the Jordan family (Rolf, Heidi, and Bastian), who have been based on the island of Lesbos since 1989. Thomas and Doris Kerner, Heidi Jordan's parents and Bastian Jordan's grandparents, lived on Lesbos and managed the local operations in Greece. Today, Bastian's parents, Heidi and Rolf, have taken over this role. Thus, three generations are constantly working for the success of Jordan Olivenöl. The Jordan and Kerner families have known and traveled the Greek island of Lesbos since the 1970s. From a love for the island and its people, our shared home in Plagia was created in 1989. Our property is located near Plomarion, in the middle of the olive groves of our mountain region. Partially ancient olive trees grow on our property, which inspired us to engage with the product olive and especially with olive oil. We were impressed not only by the olive tree, this extraordinary cultivated plant, but also by the work of the olive farmers who have been producing olive oil for generations in unique harmony with nature. From idea to reality. Initially, we supplied friends and acquaintances with our high-quality olive oil. Today, we distribute and produce our olive oil in collaboration with families from the neighborhood who maintain and cultivate an ancient olive oil tradition. Our olive oil is exceptional in taste and quality. It is produced and distributed exclusively as "Extra Virgin Olive Oil" from the region of origin.
