About JCA

JCA is a scientific cooperative that supports public and private stakeholders in the design and conduct of applied science missions. We work alongside organizations to inform decision-making, secure strategic choices, and provide scientific support where challenges are complex, sensitive, or uncertain. JCA acts as an independent scientific third party. We help our partners to objectify situations, analyze scientific data and knowledge, challenge hypotheses, and structure research, innovation, or evaluation approaches. Each mission is custom-built, depending on the context, operational constraints, and objectives pursued. Our action is organized around applied science divisions covering health and life sciences, public action and territories, industry, innovation and technologies, cultural and natural heritage, as well as defense, security, and critical infrastructures. This structure allows us to operate in various environments, with institutions, companies, operators, and organizations of all sizes. Within these divisions, JCA mobilizes cross-functional scientific expertise: studies and state-of-the-art reviews, scientific support for decision-making, applied research and R&D support, evaluation, complex systems analysis, action research, and training. These skills are combined according to mission needs and integrated into projects, without a catalog-based approach. JCA is based on a cooperative model that allows us to mobilize researchers with suitable profiles for each mission, while ensuring scientific independence and operational intervention capacity.
