We are an award winning Lancashire based family business, who operate as the primary wholesaler to SPAR retailers throughout the North of England. We also own and operate a number of other manufacturing and non-food businesses and are one of the county’s largest employers. At our main depot at Bowland View in Preston we distribute goods to over 600 SPAR stores in the North of England. We pride ourselves in our fantastic service and our great team, delivering fresh food 6 days a week. We have a wealth of retail experience with over 140 Company owned SPAR stores trading under G&E Murgatroyd & NECS. Our manufacturing division includes Clayton Park Bakery, Fazilas and Great Northern Sandwiches; we are experts in our field and make top quality products. We are passionate about great food, which is why we take the time and effort to manufacture a wide range of our own products that we are able to sell in our stores. With over 3,000 employees our people are vital to the success of our business and as a company we ensure that the family values we provide ourselves on run throughout the entire organisation.
