About IVAGO

IVAGO is the intermunicipal waste management association in Ghent and the surrounding area. We have over 400 employees in a wide and diverse range of functions. Little wonder, as we undertake a great many activities. We are responsible for waste and material management in Ghent and Destelbergen and manage six recycling centers. For the city of Ghent, we keep all streets and squares clean. That's how most people know us. Additionally, we serve more than 4000 business clients. We also have our own high-tech waste-to-energy plant with flue gas treatment and energy recovery. The plant meets our own energy and heat needs, but also supplies electricity to the public grid and, via an underground steam pipeline, contributes to the heating of Ghent University Hospital and a nearby company. Interested in helping to create a clean and sustainable city? And in developing your talents in one of our six domains: IVAGO Tech, IVAGO Move, IVAGO Hallo, IVAGO Lab, IVAGO Expert, or IVAGO People? Let us hear from you!
