About Itaueira Agropecuária S.A.

Itaueira is a family company, founded on October 17, 1983. We produce the famous REI melon, the legitimate netted melon, known both in Brazil and abroad for its quality, proudly using the slogan “Sou Saboroso” on its packaging ribbon and the slogan “O Rei do Sabor” on its label. Our specialty is fresh, flavorful, superior quality fruits: melons of the Amarelo (Yellow Honey Dew), Verde (Piel de Sapo), and Gália varieties, seedless baby watermelons. Our team of highly qualified professionals ensures rigor in our quality, health, and safety controls, as it accompanies each seed from planting until the fruit reaches the point of sale. We are very proud of our employees and work for the continuous improvement of their quality of life. Itaueira develops its own cultural treatment system, including the most modern in terms of soil preparation, planting, fertigation, harvesting, and post-harvest techniques, and adopting agricultural mechanization whenever possible. We seek sustainability and environmental preservation. Our headquarters is in Fortaleza, in the state of Ceará. Our farms are strategically located in the states of Piauí, Ceará, and Bahia, 1,000 kilometers apart from each other. In São Paulo, is our commercial office, which manages our sales throughout Brazil. Exports are managed from the headquarters in Fortaleza. We export directly to the United States, Canada, Chile, Dubai, Russia, Holland, Spain, and Italy.
