Many Yellowknifers have an opinion about what happens at City Hall. IserveU wants to make those people part of the decision-making process. At IserveU.ca, people will be able to discuss City issues and register votes for upcoming decisions. This fall, a number of candidates will be running as the platform's representatives. They'll likely be people you know, trust and respect. Basically, they'll be the kind of people who would make great councillors. They'll also be people who believe IserveU's one way to make government more transparent, accountable and responsive. That means on every important decision, they'll vote how the majority of people want them to. In a world so connected, where we vote on what products we want made (kickstarter), and what the world's most popular source of information says (wikipedia), why can’t we have a more engaged political system?
