About Intrinsic Landscaping, Inc.

At Intrinsic Landscaping, the earth is our business! We are a family-owned company whose commitment to the environment is part of an inheritance we take as seriously as our commitment to quality. Intrinsic was founded in 1969, initially specializing in full-service residential landscape design and maintenance. Recognizing the growing interest in sustainable building practices, Intrinsic created a division of the company to service the then-young American green roof industry in 1998. Since 2000, Intrinsic has built its reputation as the leading green roof contractor in the United States having installed approximately 4,000,000 square feet of vegetation on rooftops all over the country. Throughout this time, Intrinsic has continued to service the high-end residential markets in the Chicagoland area and beyond, and continues to deliver innovative solutions for owners and architects on a wide range of projects.
