About INTRESS

The Institute of Social Work and Social Services, Intress, is a non-profit association created in 1984 and declared of public utility in 2004 by the Ministry of the Interior. We assist people at risk of social exclusion from the beginning to the end of their life journey, at the moment they need it. We are pioneers in the design and implementation of the most innovative social intervention programs. We manage and promote social services in the areas of Elderly People, Mental Health, Children and Family, Women and Responses to Violence, and we assist almost 30,000 people annually in our more than 117 services. Our management capacity is linked to our knowledge, which we keep constantly evolving, share, and disseminate. We work with a person-centered care model focused on promoting their autonomy, respecting their will, and encouraging their participation, with the aim of contributing to maintaining and reinventing a just and equitable social system.
