About Interpump Group S.p.A.

Interpump Group, the world's largest manufacturer of high-pressure pumps, was founded in 1977 from the insight and initiative of one man, Fulvio Montipò, and developed thanks to the tenacity of others who embraced his philosophy, giving substance to an extremely ambitious project. Montipò, in fact, introduced substantial technical modifications to the product, designing and building pumps that were more compact, quieter, and easier to maintain. Another qualifying element of innovation is the adoption of integral ceramic pistons which guarantee superior overall reliability. This authentic revolution allowed Interpump Group to achieve world leadership from the early 1980s, becoming the recognized benchmark in the sector, even for competitors. The primacy was then reinforced over the years, up to the present day, thanks to the completion of the range and inimitable quality standards, guaranteed by total control of the production process, from raw materials to the finished product. Interpump Group today produces pumps with pressures up to 500 bar, dedicating 75% of its sales to export.
