About Instituto Esperança

Instituto Esperança is a non-profit institution located in the municipality of Santa Luzia, founded in 2012. Its initial proposal was to serve elderly women in social vulnerability. Now, Lar da Esperança, which has been doing exceptional work for 9 years, serves elderly women and offers them a better quality of life and comfort. From this initiative, the "Loja da Esperança" was born, which sells household products, fashion items, and more through donations from partners. All proceeds are reinvested in our institutions, as is the "Sabor da Esperança", a project underway for the installation of a biscuit and pie factory in the municipality of Santa Luzia with the support of Itaú Social. In 2021, the opportunity arose to host a new project, a children's shelter also in the municipality of Santa Luzia, "Filhos da Esperança", a shelter for children and adolescents from 0 to 17 years old. This is a partnership with the Prefecture of Santa Luzia. The objective of Instituto Esperança is social transformation through the strengthening of partnerships and volunteer work.
