The Société de chaudières Indeck (Indeck Boiler Corporation) is a subsidiary of Indeck Power Equipment Company, the North American leader in the sale and rental of industrial boilers and pressure vessels. With over one hundred years of experience and know-how, we are proud to manufacture quality units for the entire group! The company originated from a modest forge, which began operations in 1849 before diversifying, venturing into boiler production, and taking the name Volcano Ltée in 1933. The Volcano brand quickly became synonymous with quality in the industry, with its boilers notably serving the Canadian army's war effort during World War II to heat military camps. In 2002, Volcano Technologies was acquired by one of its long-time clients, Indeck Power Equipment Company, and became Société de chaudières Indeck (Indeck Boiler Corporation). Since 1960, over 20,000 boilers have left our factory. They are found in over 45 countries worldwide, as far afield as Singapore. Our industrial boilers are favored by government administrations, major American universities, international airports, and large multinational corporations in various sectors. Our units even contribute to the smooth running of the magic at Walt Disney World! With its 60,000 square feet of workspace and equipment capable of lifting 100 tons, our Saint-Hyacinthe factory can produce the largest industrial boilers on the market, according to specific client requirements. Each project requires between 4000 and 10,000 hours of meticulous work from our employees. Our experienced team ensures that client expectations are met while adhering to the industry's highest quality control standards. Quality control employees ensure the reliability of materials used in our boilers and conduct various tests throughout the manufacturing process of each unit. All our projects must comply with ASME code standards, National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors, and Régie du bâtiment du Québec regulations before leaving our facility. We can ship our finished products by truck, but also by train thanks to direct access to our factory for railcars. Due to our proximity to the Saint Lawrence Seaway and Pierre-Elliott-Trudeau International Airport, our orders can also reach our clients by boat or by plane.
