INAL Medicina Nuclear was founded in 1995 by doctors Alvaro Luiz Barroso and Eduardo Lanza Padrão. Dr. Alvaro Luiz Barroso was a pioneer in Belo Horizonte in the field of Nuclear Medicine, using planar and tomographic computerized gamma cameras, and also a pioneer in the use of tomographic gamma cameras with two angulable heads. In 2008, INAL Medicina Nuclear acquired a property in the heart of the hospital area of the capital of Minas Gerais, where it moved its headquarters and set up another Nuclear Medicine service, which was added to the other two services it already maintained in Belo Horizonte and to the third, its first own unit, established in Divinópolis/MG. This unit has been operating in that city since 1995 and was a pioneer in Nuclear Medicine exams in that region of the state.
