The company was founded with participation in the construction of the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, as a small construction company based in Milan. It developed by taking on contracts from private clients and gaining uncommon experience in controlling the production process. This experience proved invaluable in the design, construction, financing, and leasing to large retail groups of shopping centers subsequently developed in-house. Starting in the second half of the 1980s, the company radically changed its strategy: from an activity with high organizational effort and low added value (a construction company for third parties, always in the private sector) to an activity with low organizational effort and high added value (client, with the development of real estate operations in-house). The sector in which the company has gained specific expertise and experience is that of retail shopping centers, as well as residential, tourist, and hotel properties, becoming the group it is today. Market orientation and focus on the end customer, their needs, and the solutions and services to satisfy them have required additional skills beyond the typical technical and operational ones of the production process, which have always been preserved.
