Inventor of the world's first triple-play box, the iliad Group, created in the early 90s, is now a major player in telecommunications in Europe, distinguished by its innovative, simple, and attractive offers. The parent company of Free in France, iliad in Italy, and Play in Poland, the Group has nearly 15,000 employees serving 42.7 million subscribers and generated revenue of 5.9 billion euros in 2020. In France, the Group is an integrated Very High Speed Fixed and Mobile operator that had over 20 million individual subscribers at the end of 2020. On March 23, 2021, the iliad Group launched its business-dedicated activity in France under the Free Pro brand. In Italy, where it launched in 2018 under the iliad brand, the Group has become the country's 4th mobile operator and had over 7.2 million subscribers at the end of 2020. With the acquisition of the Polish mobile operator Play in November 2020, the iliad Group became the 6th mobile operator in Europe by number of subscribers.
