Iguá Saneamento

About Iguá Saneamento

Iguá Saneamento is one of the largest sanitation companies in Brazil, operating in 120 municipalities across Alagoas, Mato Grosso, Paraná, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, and Sergipe. We serve approximately 6 million people through six concessions and three public-private partnerships, providing treated water and sewage collection and treatment to millions of homes. Every drop of water distributed and every drop of sewage treated reflects our commitment to people's health, environmental preservation, and the development of the cities where we operate. This commitment guides our daily actions and translates into nationally and internationally recognized practices, aligned with the purpose of being the best sanitation company for Brazil. We are signatories of the UN Global Compact's Brazil Network and participate in the 2030 Movements, focusing on sanitation universalization, water security, CO2 emission reduction, increased female leadership, and management transparency. Since 2021, we have been part of the GRESB (Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark) ranking, which recognizes the quality of our sustainable management. For the fifth time, we have achieved leadership in the sanitation, waste management, and infrastructure category of TOP Open Corps 2025, a ranking that assesses engagement with startups and innovation. In 2025, we renewed our ISO 37001 (Anti-bribery Management System) and ISO 37301 (Compliance Management System) certifications, valid for three years with annual reviews, reaffirming our commitment to ethics, integrity, and legal compliance. In the same year, we received the Women on Board (WOB) seal, which recognizes companies with effective female participation in administrative or advisory boards. All of this is possible thanks to the daily commitment of each Iguá employee to quality sanitation, so that our customers live with greater well-being.
