Located in the Maspalomas International Field, Club Maspalomas Suites & Spa**** is a horizontal hotel with 133 rooms, reopened after a complete transformation on November 1, 2018. The Cáceres family, owners of the establishment, began their business journey in the medical field in 1973, with the progenitor, Doctor Felipe Cáceres Arvelo, founding the first private clinic with 24-hour service in the Playa del Inglés area. He was accompanied by his wife, Ms. María Rosa Jiménez Gordillo, who served as a nurse and managed the business finances. In 1980, they decided to diversify their businesses by building Club Maspalomas, a bungalow complex with a 1-key category, operated for ten years by the RIU Hotels&Resorts chain. From 1990 onwards, it has been managed by the family, specifically by one of their descendants, Iván Cáceres. Throughout all these years, the paternal influence in the care of body and mind has been so significant that last May 2018, they decided to undertake their most ambitious project. They renovated the complex, transforming it into a 4-star superior hotel, redefining the concept of vacation through the pursuit of well-being and health. Following this line, the Cáceres family spared no expense in investing in top-quality materials and state-of-the-art equipment to provide maximum comfort and convenience to their guests, always with a focus on sustainability and environmental awareness. Additionally, they converted a portion of the hotel's area into a leisure and relaxation zone, featuring the Zen Spa therapy center and sports facilities. Notably, they built a panoramic gym and a semi-Olympic swimming pool, which includes a professional swimming lane. With the same objective, they incorporated the role of a host into the team, a dynamic and proactive individual who leads a program with various activities such as yoga, dance classes, pool exercises, and culinary workshops. The host also interacts with guests during dinner and presents all shows performed by distinguished music professionals. However, this pursuit of well-being is not solely achieved through physical exercise. Following the motto "you are what you eat," they designed a balanced and healthy gastronomic offering with the same goal, highlighting Km0 (artisanal) products, as well as vegetarian and vegan options. The key to our success, which sets us apart from our competitors, is undoubtedly our top-tier human team. Each member has been selected with the utmost care.
