Hyresgästföreningen

About Hyresgästföreningen

Hyresgästföreningen is a democratic member organization for tenants and we are politically independent. We are over half a million members who together work to ensure all tenants live well. This makes us one of Sweden's largest popular movements and the foremost representative of tenants. Our fundamental goal is everyone's right to a good home at a reasonable cost. In addition, all tenants should be guaranteed housing with security, influence, and community. We work on housing issues both large and small - everything from extensive legal changes to the small playground in the yard that needs to be renovated. Together we make a difference, both for today's and tomorrow's tenants.
