HydroSolution was founded by Hydro-Québec in 1958 with the goal of promoting the use of electricity throughout Quebec by offering electric water heater rentals to Quebecers. HydroSolution transitioned to a private company in 2005. However, the service offering remained the same as its original purpose: the sale, rental, and turnkey installation of water heaters. In 2021, the company decided to diversify by offering products such as heat pumps, charging stations, and water leak detection systems. HydroSolution's service offering is designed to meet the specific needs of a diverse clientele, including residential property owners, tenants, condominium managers, real estate investors, and builders. Specific programs for each client type are developed to eliminate time waste and offer personalized, structured service to each.
