Day in, day out, our team are doing extraordinary things - changing a young life and seeing them achieve their potential, taking care of our roads, buildings and parks, helping people to get into employment, giving people a safe and secure home and creating a thriving city to live in, work in and visit. These are just some of the vital services that our team provides. It can sometimes be tough but, together, we support one another, reward, celebrate and push the boundaries of what we can achieve. I am incredibly proud to be part of Team Hull. As a Council, we’ve come a long way and our hard work has been recently recognised with a number of prestigious national awards celebrating the very best achievements of people working in local government. Accolades secured by our great teams include the award for Best Apprenticeship Programme at the Investors In People Awards 2021, recognition for our Future Work Design transformation project at the Local Government Chronicle Awards and numerous awards for the work we are doing to improve our city and neighbourhoods. We’re always on the lookout for talented people who share our commitment to supporting and empowering communities.
