About Huisarts en Zorg

Huisarts en Zorg (HenZ) is committed to optimally supporting general practitioner practices in the Gorinchem region to provide good 24/7 general practitioner care with more time for the patient and while retaining job satisfaction. The affiliated general practitioners organize much together. For example, acute care is provided in the evenings, at night, and on weekends via the Gorinchem General Practitioner Emergency Post. Together with other primary care providers and specialists, the general practitioners implement care programs for people with diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, or lung conditions. Delivering the right care in the right place is an important principle. Huisarts en Zorg, as an overarching general practitioner organization, consists of 5 entities: Huisarts en Zorg Holding, Zorggroep, Facilitair, the Huisartsenpost, and the Vereniging.
