A family-owned and independent company, it vertically controls all stages of production of its collections, from artistic conception and the search for the best gems and precious metals to the launch in its stores and international campaigns. HStern jewelry is created and developed in its own workshops located in Brazil, by the hands of experienced artisans, many of whom were raised in the company where they have developed their art for decades. The company's headquarters, located in Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro, was the first building ever planned to house all areas involved in fine jewelry manufacturing and retail: goldsmithing and gem cutting workshops, analysis laboratories, training facilities, offices, showrooms, and more. The company has a global team of about 1,000 employees and is present in 10 countries with 70 points of sale in major world capitals such as New York, Moscow, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Lima, and Tel Aviv. Founded in Rio de Janeiro in 1945 by German immigrant Hans Stern (1922-2007), today the brand is led by Roberto Stern, his eldest son and current President and Creative Director of the company.
